Synopsis

What is left when the people you have spent your life serving leave? This is the story of three sisters: Sapho, the youngest, who changes boyfriends in the hope of changing her life ; Afrodita, Sapho's twin, who can't speak because of a physical problem ; and Slavica, 35, the oldest sister, who works in a factory. The film depicts the tempestuous relationship between these sisters and their hope of changing their life in this miserable world.

"We live in Titov Veles, simply called Veles since Tito died, but amongst ourselves we still call it Titov Veles. There is a lead factory that Tito had built during the communist era, or as he called it, the social democratic era."
